Blog Setup Service

Although this service was again originally designed for Stampin' Up! Demonstrators, it can be modified to help assist other business types with their specific setup needs. Please contact me with a list of your specifications and I'd be more than happy to provide a personalized quote.

Such items may include (but not limited to):

1. Installation of a new banner and color scheme (see Blog Design if you need a new, customized banner developed).
2. Conversion to a 3 column format if using Blogger.
3. Adding a subscription widget like Feedburner or Feedblitz.
4. Creating Link Lists (to link to other pages on your own site or to other resources).
5. Store Setup.

For Stampin' Up! Demonstrators

My blog setup fee is $60 and includes the following (can be made custom to suit your needs).  This includes the installation of a banner, background, post signature and other graphics designed by Michelle Laycock or other designer you may have used, and of course a coordinating color scheme for the overall look of your blog. If you are using Blogger, this also includes a 3 column conversion.

1. ALL current promotions, catalogs, and product lines.
2. Links to your SU website and some type of navigation - calendar of events, join my team, promotions, shop online and more. If using Typepad, there is a new Nav Bar feature available for customization.  If using Blogger, I can add a Quick Links menu (www.jennywalz.blogspot.com) to your sidebar or we can discuss installing a custom Navigation Bar.
3. Feedburner/Feedblitz - allows people to subscribe to your blog (stay updated when you post).
4. Newsletter Signup - if you use constant contact, vertical response, or Debbie McNeil's newsletter services, I can add a signup box on your sidebar. Would then need additional login information for that.
5. Categories - although you will enter these as you post, I will make the spot in the sidebar for them.
6. Monthly Archives.
7. Stampin' Up! Featured Projects of the Month.
8. Stampin' Up! YouTube Channel button.
9. Online Ordering button -- links to your Stampin' Up! website.
10. Stampin' Up! Disclaimer.
11. Any other things that may interest you that you've seen on other blogs and want on yours? For example, a survey, a search bar, button to your calendar, a counter, etc. Another popular item is adding a PayPal button. I would then need your Paypal login information as well.

Additional Considerations

You are responsible for other blog related services fees. For example, if you use Typepad, then you are responsible for their monthly fee (starting at $4.95 and up).

I will also be more than happy to assist you in setting up your domain if you choose to have one (for example, with Go Daddy). A domain you would like your blog's address to read  www.handstampedbyheather.com instead of www.heatherporto.blogspot.com for example. Domain registration fees are separate but very affordable, normally averages $8.95 a year (not monthly).
