Many customers and readers are looking how to add the new Facebook LIke Button (Thumbs Up) to their blog posts. Here is how you do it in Blogger.
- Login and go to Layout from the Dashboard.
- Click on Edit HTML.
- Click on the check box for Expand Widgets.
- Then scroll and find the code <data:post.body/>
- Then directly after it, copy and paste this code - click to open this text file or go to this Blogger Help file, scroll all the way to the bottom and copy the last snippet of code provided by jsedw05.
- As shown in diagram below (click to open larger view to see all code).
- Save Template Changes.

Thank you so much!!!! This morning I decided I wanted to add a Like button to my posts and my google search took me to a confusing site and then to you and this work perfectly!!!! html and I are not good friends yet so I need all the help I can get!!!!

hi.i don't know why but when i click 'Like' for 1 post,it turned out that I like every post in my blog.Do u know how to fix this? TQ in advance.

This is great. After trying this several times with codes from other sites .... I don't know why, but yours has worked perfectly. Do you have any suggestions for the Twitter ReTweet Button?

Ok, I see what happened....Typepad reformatted the code when I copied and pasted it into the post. So I have reposted the instructions where you can either download or open this file:
http://heatherporto.typepad.com/Blogger-Facebook-Like.txt
which contains the code to copy and paste or a link to a Blogger Help file that also contains the code to copy and paste.

I am getting the same error message. I tried the notepad thing. Are you using the regular blogger or blogger in draft??

It may be one of two things. 1. Try copying and pasting the Notepad incase the formatting is getting messed up. Then from Notepad copy and paste it into Blogger.
2. When you paste, it be sure to paste it directly after the ">". Meaning in my sample I had a I think write after So I pasted the code before the or whatever may be there.
